How to do a basic braid

First, make sure the hair is brushed.

Put the hair into a ponytail.

Divide the hair into three sections.

Take the right section…

 and put it into the middle.

Next, take the left section…

and put it into the middle.

Make sure to tighten every time.

Take the right section and put it into the middle.

Take the left section and put it into the middle.

Remember to tighten.

Continue until the braid is as long as you want it to be.

Secure the end with a hairband.
